One of the most significant residential construction projects ever seen on the Capricorn Coast, the $500 million ‘The Pines’ residential community, has been officially launched at a function in Yeppoon.
The Pines promises to revolutionise the property market in the area while bringing Australia’s leading broadband and communication technology to residents. Around 3000 people will call The Pines home.
Homecorp’s innovative master plan includes a diversity of lot types, home styles, convenience retail services and over 20ha of open space which will deliver several kilometres of walking and cycling paths. There will also be BBQ areas, family friendly dog parks and an all weather sport and recreation precinct. The trail which leads from the Yeppoon CBD to The Pines community will be upgraded as part of the development.
Homecorp Property Group CEO Ron Bakir said the opening of The Pines sales centre today in Anzac Parade, Yeppoon has introduced an exciting interactive showcase to the location which will serve as a gathering place for the emerging community.
“The display suite includes an impressive overview of Yeppoon which highlights the exact location for The Pines and all the recreational and open spaces. There’s also a home design area where visitors can choose their home design and inclusions.
“The centre-piece is the state-of-the-art interactive touch screen system which brings it all to life. You can actually place the house you want on the block you want and see exactly what it’s going to look like,” said Mr Bakir.
“It’s a special moment for me as CEO of Homecorp to witness the start of something so special. This place will be home to thousands of connected and happy people all enjoying the unique benefits of a cutting edge community that everyone will want to be part of.”
Only weeks ago construction of the main gateway; the intersection of the Rockhampton Yeppoon Road and the future The Pines Boulevard began providing residents with visual evidence that the massive transformation is underway. Already locals are putting their names down to be among the first purchasers.
“The precinct is an integral part of the council's economic development and job creation strategy for the Capricorn Coast.
