A STATE-of-the-art interactive display never before achieved commercially marked the launch of the most significant residential construction project seen on the Capricorn Coast.
Creating an inspirational, master-planned community that embraces a relaxed, coastal lifestyle is the concept behind the $500 million development at Yeppoon.
The Pines promises to revolutionise the property market in the area.
It will also provide Australia's leading broadband and communication technology to residents.
The Pines Yeppoon project sales manager Danny Carr said developers Homecorp saw huge potential for growth on the Capricorn Coast.
"We wanted to do something for the community," Mr Carr said.
"Main Roads is making the intersection, which will have four lanes and traffic lights, and construction on the land will start on September 1."
An eight-year project, around 3000 people will eventually call The Pines home.
Mr Carr said the response from the region had been "fantastic" and already locals were putting their names down to be among the first purchasers.
"It's just one of those untapped areas," Danny said.
"We've got all of the best local builders on the project, so it's exciting times."
Homecorp CEO Ron Bakir said the opening of The Pines sales centre in Anzac Parade last week introduced an exciting, interactive showcase to the location, which will serve as a gathering place.
"The centrepiece is the state-of-the-art interactive touch-screen system which brings it all to life,'' Mr Bakir said.
"You can actually place the house you want on the block you want and see exactly what it's going to look like.
"There's also a home design area where visitors can choose their home design and inclusions."
Some features od the development will include:
Barbecue areas, family-friendly dog parks and an all-weather sport and recreation precinct.
The trail which leads from the Yeppoon CBD to The Pines community will be upgraded as part of the development.
Homecorp Group is headquartered on the Gold Coast and has been operating across Australia since 2004.
Homecorp Group CEO Ron Bakir was named Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year in November, 2013.
